Oil spill at the Gulf of Mexico: BeachTech Sweepy hydro proves its value in oil spill clean-up.

The most recent beach cleaner in the BeachTech fleet, the multifunctional BeachTech Sweepy hydro, adds to the oil clean-up operation of BeachTech beach cleaning machines at the Gulf of Mexico.

During several demonstrations along the oil-infested coastal areas of Louisiana, Alabama and Florida, the BeachTech Sweepy hydro, equipped with a very small-meshed, shaking double screen presented itself as the optimal machine for fine-tuning on the beaches. The majority of oil lumps is removed by the larger BeachTech models 3000, 2800 and 2000. The smallest particles left behind by these, can be picked up with the BeachTech Sweepy hydro. It is maneuverable and easy to steer to where there are brown traces of oil still visible in the sand. With an extremely close-meshed shaking screen, even the smallest parts won't escape the BeachTech Sweepy hydro.
