Fall 2011 is Peak Season for BeachTech trade shows.
During the past few weeks, BeachTech has exhibited in five different trade shows, in five different counties, presenting our beach cleaning machines to a broad audience.
Spain:
This October, the Ecoplayas congress, a yearly event focussing on beach management also including beach cleaning, took place in Lloret de Mar at the Mediterranean Sea. The visitors were invited to real time demonstrations of different brands of beach cleaning machines right on the beach!
Italy:
In November of each year, the ECOMONDO is held in Rimini at the Adriatic coast. With 1000 exhibitors in 16 halls, this is one of the largest trade shows in Italy for environmental issues such as waste management, energy recycling and sustainability. Beach cleaning contributes to a large extent to improve the ecological situation, i.e. for tourist areas in Italy.
France:
In November, the Salon des Maires was held in Paris: with more than 900 exhibitors and approximately 60,000 visitors, this is a large show focussing on the Mayors and Local Authorities of various public authorities with the goal of providing the right answers and solutions to their daily work challenges and issues, especially regarding beach cleaning.
USA:
Another important trade show was last week in San Antonio, Texas, the Clean Gulf Show presented itself as the biggest event in Northern America regarding oil spills and oil response! This is a must for us as it was BeachTech that was the most used beach cleaning machine during the Gulf oil spill!
Germany:
We were very happy that Blue Flag once again gave us the chance to present some news about BeachTech during the National Operators Meeting. This year, it took place on the German on island of Usedom in the Baltic Sea. We took this opportunity to show our beach cleaning machines in action to the BlueFlag National Operators that had come from all parts of the world.
The responsible people of the surrounding beach communities had many chances to collect specific information about beach accessories and beach cleaning. We developed some great relationship, solid contacts and came away with great information. The proximity to our customers and the enriching exchange make these trade shows so important for us.
